I would be but the old ladder's formulas were heavily flawed, and resulted in ratings that werent really abstract of a player's performance. Old ladder would need a complete revamp, and we'd need twice as many TA players lol

Stop trying to sound all smart. Fag.
O and by the way the last formula Crip made was the best to date of any TA ladder by FAR. And it was as accurate as you are going to get. All ladders scoring systerm are flawed in the short term.

Are you done flaming needlessly? Or are you going to continue acting like a toddler.
One of the biggest problems (and practically the sole reason that threw things so badly out of balance) was the imba point gain/loss system, where the loser would lose fewer points then the winner. This in the long term over several games would cause player's ratings (particularly the regulars') to inflate out of proportion and respect to the rest of the participants, two players could simply play each other for e.g. 1000 games, win/lose half and have gained massive ratings.
An elo system (such as used in chess) would be extremely well placed in a game such as this, and crip's other modifications (core, MOTW bonus) can fall in place very nicely too on the same system.
That being said, no point in having any sort of ladder if only 8 people are giong to participate on it, lol

Of course the winners gains more points than the loser loses.. If this wasn't the case then you might be in top and lose to a guy in 10th and drop a couple of places for that one loss, It doesn't make any sense.
For beating someone ''better than you'' on ladder you gain a lot of points and they lose a lot. But of course they gain more than you lose... The positions would be up and down like a yo-yo each game otherwise. This was tested at the time.
Crip spent a lot of time doing the scoring system and he took the best part of all ladders that had been in existence so far and fine tuned it himself. If he says he was good it was good. Also, I never heard any complaints about the scoring system until now. You just have to look at the ladder site for 06 standings and then check the games played around that time to see that its fairly accurate.

Hey Pacer! I am on randomly on the majority of days. Rock and reaps on too. I wont be on this weekend prolly but next week for sure!
Bf, only Crip can do this. I'll log on msn and try get in touch with him. He said the last time its a load of hassle to do it for some reason, but I'm sure he'll do it if I can a hold of him.
Edit ** O and as long as Tip and myself play, although obv desirable to reset we can still continue with the ladder already on it.
