Hello all,
I'm new to the whole TA Demos thing, but I've been a TA player for a long time. I'm wondering if there's any tutorial on how to get it working perfectly?
If I have the 2 CDs for the game, what do I need to do in what order to be able to run those .tad files? I've played around with TA Demo, but when it loads the .tad, it'll just go to an empty list of LAN games.
UPDATE: After playing around a bit, I can get in a game, but I am missing 4 units. When the game plays, it's messed up. Random units, a ship moving around on ground building random units. I'm hoping that I'm just missing 4 units and this resolves it. Any suggestions on what it could be? I've installed CC.
Thanks!

tazone.tauniverse.com/resource/files.shtmlThere is link to file "MCNTerra-NS", unzip the file and put it in your totala folder (folder where your totala.exe is) - then you can watch those demos. Just note that after putting this file in your folder, anyone who wants to watch your games, will need the file too. Also theres list of some useful commands when watching replays: .total (shows metal and energy made so far in game by players) .units (current number of all players units) .sonar (creates sonar unit that gives underwater vision) +view 1, +view 2 etc. (shows commander health etc. info about selected player) +logo x x (changes color of player, handy for i.e. blue player in water maps - logo command works in game too) First number is number of color - color numbers are in same order as they appear in battleroom when u click them, 0 = blue, 1 = red etc. Second number is number of player. i.e. +logo 6 1 changes player number 1 to yellow (color 6) or +logo 0 2 changes player 2 to blue (color 0)
