Why are there so many unreviewed games at the moment? I know there are plenty of reviewers capable of reviewing and I'm just wondering how can it possibly take up to a week sometimes before at least ONE of the MANY reviewers actually reviews a new game.
A suggestion I have is: Fine, review games and give them scores, but you should also simply allow people to watch the unreviewed games anyway. Just validate them as being actual TADs and move them to another unreviewed, but viewable game section. This would still allow veterans to pass judgement on games, but at the same time allow people to view new games instead of waiting for a week to watch the latest.
Feedback on suggestion please!

Then again there are probably over a hundred games on tadrs that you haven't seen. You can also check TAzone TADDS for tads, Watch those i the mean time. And reason why there are still games in review queu is because most of them suck or link is broken.

main reason: they blow asshole. you faggots are depreciating the value of tadrs with shit games that newbies from 1999 could have done better, then you fucking cry cause we tell you they suck and don't want to review them. heres an idea: goto www.microsoft.com and download msn messenger then go and add all your gay newbie friends and swap your gay newbie demos with each other. like we give a fuck to review, nigger please.

Reviewing a game properly takes a certain amount of time. And you have to take into account many of us have watched 1000+ tads. Sitting through lots of average ones to find the diamond in the rough gets very boring indeed. You're spending 20+ minutes a pop (assuming you .400 the speed, not always the best way to catch the details) hoping that the dull, repetitive gameplay you're watching has some sort of clever or interesting conclusion. Most of the time it doesn't.
I don't get the impression most people submitting the demos are actually sitting down and watching them themselves. They're just copy pasting loads of stuff from their demos folder and thinking "hmm.. those might be good". Well most of them aren't. And someone else has to sit though them so show some consideration. If you've got 5 demos. Watch them and upload the best one!
It's not like I'm not looking at this from both angles. I've only ever uploaded one demo myself, because I think most of my play is pretty unoriginal. Why submit something that's already on here 100 times. Like an average Gods of War game.
Things that compel me to review at this stage are unusual map, or two+ good players I've actually heard of.
The best solution to our problem would be to have every demo submitted have a user poll where the thing is rated from 1 to 10. And a forum topic generated where people can explain why they thought it was good or shit, with spoiler tags as appropriate.
But hey, someone would need to code that. And there isn't a very big audience for TA demos anymore anyway. Most of the time even 9 rated demos only get 30 or 40 downloads. So forgive us if we don't really give a shit. If you want to make a difference go stick a TADRS link in your signature, post on forums, and spread the word about what a wonderful job it is we are doing.
P.S. getting my computer fixed. Might have time to do a demo or two shortly.
P.S.S. half the games in the list are usually broken so there probably aren't nearly as many actual demos on there as it initially appears.

Those shitty games don't need to be rewieved, just erase them from TADRS.
Keeping only the good material availible to download will make TADRS look much better. And maybe have more acces...

Why are people reviewing games that only 5-20 people will download. its really depressing Exactly. It's not like many of them aren't great games either. I'm after having a bit of a bitch about it on the TAUniverse main page, but I doubt it'll make a difference. I remember making a post about a demo or two on there (and these were genius games) and they still only got 80 or 90 dloads. Despite being linked to on the main TAUniverse page for weeks. Most people just don't have the demo recorder installed I think. They're all just 3rd party downloading newbs visiting that site.
